Non seulement les propos sont insipides, les valeurs sont aussi mauvaises, tel que leur super plus de 90% du marché et rendus à 70%, ce sont des segments et pas les mêmes en plus. plus de 90%, c'était le marché du haute gamme. 70%, c'est, c'était et ça a toujours été le marché global des appareils musicaux.

J'en reviens pas que l'auteur fait encore sur le doom. Bizarre qu'on entend pas beaucoup parler du doom de Microsoft et Vista.

I am tired of hearing horrible PS3 news! (note: all the words are clickable and all point to different slashdot news stories)

Since PS3 has started up to gain momentum a few years ago, it then became a gigantic monolith and it seems not one week can go by without yet another announcement that makes it even worse. And here I'm not talking about analysts or destructive comments (same drill) … I am talking about only true honest coming-from-Sony downgrades and comments.

And again, not talking about their battery problems, problems with defining the PSP, Blu-Ray being very late and not playing movies. .. I don't even have to link to the CD copy protection scheme that rootkits, everyone knows about that one and it was destructive enough, or their Sony dis-Connect. I am really talking about things that Sony said and only for the PS3 (the first links of the article).

I really want to give a chance to the PS3. I really do. I want to embark in the hype, the two devices I wanted the most a year ago were the PS3 and the Revolution (now Wii). I always said I was going to wait a year before buying my PS3 because Sony's first revisions are usually duds or horrendously slow. But now, I want to wait a year and then some before buying in onto the PS3 because frankly, I got no intention of purchasing this before the zealots explore it thoroughly.

If it were only analysts, I would bite the bullet and say some group of MSFT zealots are hard at work… but all the first articles are all news from Sony, so if I was such a group, I'd just sit back and relax and leave Sony self-destruct. All I was asking from them is "Don't make it worse, please, don't make it worse, give me a reason to buy it for chrissake"… but every time I look somewhere, there are yet again more bad news, more cut features, more strange ideas, more stuff that are worse than before, more damage control on the price, more damage control on the release date. Geez, I almost feel like I'm reliving a Vista all over again.

Next thing we'll hear about is about shortage of PS3 in some place, because they could only produce that many, and then PS3s staying on the tablets because no one in their right minds have any reason to shell out a Canadian grand to buy only the console without accessories and games, and cable, and anything.

Please, I do love Sony, I love their digital cameras, their TVs are always top notch, their monitors used to be the best (CRT-wise), although expensive, you are paying for good crap. I do want to buy in to Sony, but don't make it worse, it's already so many bad news, give a break to your PR guys, try to give a good vibe, some momentum… Please.

Oh btw, I decided to link only into Slashdot, but I could've done so with many other news outlets, it just gives a good representation. Slashdot is a site that is not exclusively gaming-oriented and they got all these news about PS3's impeding doom… imagine a gaming-specific site!

Update: 09/06 17:58 GMT by Z : Just to make sure you caught it, the announcement includes the word that the U.S. will only be getting 400,000 units at launch in November, with Japan at 100,000 units. Go Sony.

Go Sony… 400 000 units for the North American zealots, and 100 000 in Japan. That will be SO not enough for the zealots, and if it somehow kind of deceive them, I'd double that number for the number of total units sold in the whole PS3 life.

Et ceci dit, je n'ai pas vraiment un sou à mon nom ces jours-ci, ça tombe très mal … mais pareil!

Pré-script: Faisait un bout que j'avais pas écrit. Non je ne suis pas disparu, juste très occupé. Je prends un petit 5 minutes pendant que mon sèchage se termine avant d'aller à une réunion, oui pendant la fête du travail … bleh. Partez des entreprises qu'y disait. Vous verrez du pays, qu'y disait. *frappe une roche*, qu'y disait.

Je regarde ça et plus ça avance, plus la société s'en vient avec du management de risque. De plus en plus de produits frôlant le toxique sont présentés aux autorités et la majeure partie passent le test. En fait, chaque produit ne cause que "quelques" réactions dans un très faible pourcentage des gens. Pris individuellement, c'est pas mauvais.

Pris ensemble, tout le monde subit des contrecoups des innombrables produits qu'on mange. Aujourd'hui, il serait bien mal aisé de trouver une seule personne qui ne subit pas au moins un effet secondaire, et ceci est sans parler des vils mélanges qu'on subit dans nos estomacs, avec quelques produits qui ne sont pas faits pour aller ensemble, mais qui pouvait prédire.

On doit aussi ajouter une dose de produits génétiquement modifiés, auquel on a aucune étude à long terme pour déterminer si le produit est sauf pour l'utilisaiton. Aussi certains autres produits, comme le savon à lave-vaisselle que j'ai acheté, qui suggèrent presque de se servir de gants pour le mettre dans le lave-vaisselle. Dire qu'on mange ça après. Finalement, il y a la recreduscence de maladies bénignes mais étranges, qui tombe très précisément dans notre ère (asthmes et allergies pour ne nommer qu'eux). Il y a de quoi se poser des questions pareil.

Une des interpretations historiques de la cacheroute est qu'elle a été créée par nécessité pour éviter les empoisonnements et suivre les règles religieuses. Je sens que plusieurs vont commencer à rechercher les produits bio et organiques, avec une emphase sur le local, tout comme une personne suivant les règles de la cacheroute recherche le petit sigle MK. Je sais que malgré le fait que je ne me bloque pas et que je vais manger un peu partout sans vérifier, et que j'achète des produits "normaux" quand je ne trouve pas d'équivalent, je suis beaucoup plus enclin à acheter des produits bio lorsque possible.

Ce que je cherche, c'est manger des produits de base plus ou moins comme on aurait pu les retrouver au début du 20e siècle. Pas de produits modifiés génétiquement mais quelques croisements, pas d'additifs violents, des produits habituellement provenant de fermes avoisinantes, des viandes qui ne sont pas vraiment engraissées à la "farine animale" (la personne qui a inventé ce terme mérite un 10 sur 10 au niveau du dorage de pilule), bref, ce qu'on a su reconnaître dans les dernières années comme étant une alimentation saine, dépourvue de statistiques sur la fiabilité.

Déjà ça commence un peu mais je sens que le mouvement va juste aller en s'intensifiant, et beaucoup vont demander la bénédiction d'un organisme pour spécifier que ceci est bien bio, et qu'ils ne vont manger que du bio… tout comme nos amis cacheroutiens.
